Artist's Statement:

I enjoy working on location, whether selecting forest floor microcosms from the abundant flora and fauna of our woodlands, absorbing our country’s magnificent vistas across the land, or making delicate botanical studies from gardens. Though I work in watercolors, oils and pastels on occasion, I prefer the control and convenience of colored pencil pigments over an under work of fine ink line. I feel my work is a gift from God and it's process brings me great joy. I hope my art reflects my passion for my subjects and their Creator.
